My story
My name is Samar Dumheer. Me and my family bought this farm when I was very young, it wasn't a large farm but it took all of us to keep it going.

When I inherited the farm, it was very important to me to keep the sense of familiarity and kindness with the farm. It was important to me that the people who helped and worked at the farm were treated like family. Which has since earned farmus the recognition of fair trade, which we value highly.

At my farm I have the arbacia type of coffee, that is due to all the hard work everyone at the farm puts into making sure that the coffee beans are preserved. Arabica takes more work than robusta to produce, but we are always hard working.

  • Arabica coffee is grown 1000-2000 meters above sea level in southern India with nurture and care. Arabica coffee plants have a very deep root system making them able to obtain a lot of nourishment which gives the coffee beans an excellent taste often described as a full, mild, sweet and fruity flavor with hints of chocolate or berries. It has about 60% more lipids than robusta coffee beans. Lipids provide aroma and like the high concentration of sugar shows how good the quality of the coffee is. Arabica, having a larger amount of lipids and twice as much sugar as Robusta, is considered to be a great quality coffee.
